Sakar Sevayog is a distinguished award and recognition given to organisations that make consistent contribution to society. Sevayog honors individuals and teams that work with the spirit of service (seva). Sevayog looks for people who consider their service as a form of spiritual practice like yoga. For these individuals serving society is their passion & fulfillment of life’s mission. Mahatma Gandhi is an example of Sevayogi who believed in serving people as an expression of his spiritual duty.
Sevayog award selection committee includes eminent and distinguished individuals who have decades of experience in public service & community contribution. These individuals assess each organisation in a fair and unbiased manner. Everyone is given equal opportunity to present their contribution. If any individual or organisation is not selected in a year, they can always be nominated next year.
It is the duty of society to encourage individuals and teams who work with spirit of selfless service. We want to thank and encourage these unsung heroes.
