Sakar Sevayog is a distinguished award and recognition given to organisations that make consistent contribution to society. Sevayog honors individuals and teams that work with the spirit of service (seva). Sevayog looks for people who consider their service as a form of spiritual practice like yoga. For these individuals serving society is their passion & fulfillment of life’s mission. Mahatma Gandhi is an example of Sevayogi who believed in serving people as an expression of his spiritual duty.


Sevayog Selection Committe:

Sevayog award selection committee includes eminent and distinguished individuals who have decades of experience in public service & community contribution. These individuals assess each organisation in a fair and unbiased manner. Everyone is given equal opportunity to present their contribution. If any individual or organisation is not selected in a year, they can always be nominated next year.

 

Purpose of Sevayog Award:

It is the duty of society to encourage individuals and teams who work with spirit of selfless service. We want to thank and encourage these unsung heroes. The purpose of Sevayog award is to acknowledge the spirit and contribution of selected organisation. We will like these individuals and teams to know that society appreciates their contribution.


Sevayog Award Includes:

Each Sevayog Award Winner will get following benefits:

1) Sevayog award memento and recognition in public program.

2) Sevayog organisation will be highlighted on Sakartrust Website.

3) Sevayog teams will get the opportunity to speak for 3 minutes at Sakar event and encourage audience to volunteer their time.

Sevayog team should not canvas for donations at Sakar events.
However, each Sevayog team can request people to participate and volunteer their time.

 

Sakar Sevayog Aaward Guidelines:

1) The Sakar Sevayog Award is open to any registered NGO or social organization with extraordinary impact in India, Europe or North America.

2) There are no charges applicable for the Award Nomination process. Your NGO should fulfill the conditions of being an active & ICT based.

2) Any applicant may edit/modify the details in the Nomination form till the last date of accepting the Nomination form. However, Nomination form in any way will be considered as final after the last date & no further modification will be allowed.

4) Interested entities can take part in nomination process by applying online or contacting expert panel for the nomination process through rajesh@sakartrust.org

5) The entry will not be considered if any nominee fails to submit the entire details of the nomination forms till the last date of registration.

6) There is no limitation regarding the language, platforms, channels or volunteers the NGO work with.

7) One NGO can only submit for one category. In case of multiple submissions by the same organization, company or team, each product requires a separate registration.

8) Any false information regarding the NGO in the nomination form will immediately disqualify the nominee. All materials received during the judging process will remain confidential & will not be shared with any external entity without the consent of the concerned person.
